Please carefully review our terms and conditions outlined below. By booking an appointment with M&C Fences, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by all policies associated with this service. Furthermore, by signing the installation agreement, you consent to and accept the binding terms and conditions governing the installation. These terms are legally enforceable and outline both parties' rights and responsibilities to ensure a clear and professional service experience.
Booking Appointments
By booking an appointment with M&C Fences, you agree to the following terms and conditions: You consent to the recording of our interactions during your appointment, which may be used for quality assurance purposes or social media content. If you do not wish for any images or videos featuring you to be posted, please notify us in advance, and we will ensure that your privacy is respected. It is your responsibility to confirm the precise location of your property lines, as M&C Fences relies on this information for accurate quoting and installation, and we are not liable for any discrepancies. Please ensure that our team has adequate access to the property at the time of the appointment; if your property is located in a gated community or has restricted entry, provide the necessary access code or instructions prior to the appointment to avoid delays. We also require a clear, safe pathway to the areas being assessed. The customer consents to allow a 15-minute window at the scheduled appointment time for the arrival of M&C Fences’ sales team. This allowance accounts for potential traffic or other unforeseen delays. M&C Fences appreciates your understanding as we strive to maintain prompt and efficient service. Respectful communication is expected from both parties, and any inappropriate or disruptive behavior may result in the termination of services. If you are unable to attend the appointment, please notify us in advance; otherwise, a rescheduled appointment will incur a $75 fee to cover time and travel expenses. Any pets or animals that may interfere with the appointment should be secured for the safety of both parties. Additionally, the quote provided during the appointment is based on the conditions observed at that time, and any unanticipated issues discovered after installation begins, such as underground utilities or obstructions, may result in adjusted costs. By booking your appointment, you affirm that you understand and agree to these legally binding terms, designed to ensure a professional, transparent, and fair experience for all parties.
Installing your Fence
By signing our agreement, the customer affirms that all information contained within is accurate and agrees to the terms outlined herein. The contract represents the entire binding agreement between M&C Fences and the customer, and the company is not responsible for any verbal agreements made outside of this document. By proceeding with the installation, the customer consents to M&C Fences recording interactions on the property for quality assurance and marketing purposes. Occasionally, recordings may be used for promotional purposes on social media. If the customer does not wish for images or videos featuring them or their property to be shared publicly, a notice must be provided in advance, and M&C Fences will honor such requests. M&C Fences will make every effort to leave the work area clean and free of debris following installation. However, it is the customer's responsibility to clear the area of personal items, landscaping elements, or obstructions prior to the start date to ensure smooth installation. Any delays or additional labor required to clear these obstacles may result in additional charges. The customer is responsible for marking property boundaries if property stakes are not visible. M&C Fences is not liable for errors in property line location if these boundaries are not accurately marked. Any underground obstructions or utilities, especially private lines such as irrigation systems or private electrical connections (e.g., electricity to sheds), must be disclosed in writing prior to installation. While M&C Fences coordinates with public utility companies to locate major lines like gas and electric, we cannot be held liable for damages to unreported private lines. Please note, that the quote provided during the initial assessment is based on observed site conditions; any unanticipated issues, such as underground utilities or other reasons discovered after installation begins, may lead to adjusted costs. Modifications to the agreement after signing are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Installation dates are subject to change due to weather, supply chain delays, or unforeseen conditions that could impact safety or quality. The customer or a designated representative must be available on-site or reachable by phone during the installation period to address any questions, clarifications, or adjustments that may arise. A standard three-month warranty on craftsmanship is provided, ensuring that installation meets industry standards. This warranty does not extend to natural wear and tear, weather-related issues, ground shifts, or damage due to external factors, such as impact from vehicles or objects, natural disasters, vandalism, or issues unrelated to workmanship. For your safety, please keep children, pets, and unauthorized individuals away from the work area during installation, as we use potentially hazardous tools and materials. M&C Fences is not responsible for any injuries resulting from unauthorized access to the work area. While we strive for precise placement, there is an acceptable tolerance in fence placement due to potential underground obstructions, obstacles, or necessary adjustments. All card payments are subject to a 3.5% service fee to cover transaction costs, which M&C Fences does not keep. Cash and check payments are free from this charge, and customers paying with cash are due to do a 50% down payment and 50% at completion. We offer 3, 6, 12, and 18 months of zero interest and zero down payment for qualifying customers, ask your sales representative if you are interested in payment options. M&C Fences retains full ownership of all materials used for installation until payment is completed in full. For customers on payment plans, ownership remains with M&C Fences until the final installment is made or the signed sales slip is submitted. In the event of a cancellation after the process has started, a partial or full refund may be issued based on the circumstances, at the discretion of M&C Fences. The customer authorizes M&C Fences and its employees to enter the property as necessary to complete the work outlined. Upon the completion of the installation, the customer must inspect the work and report any concerns immediately. If no concerns are reported, the work will be considered accepted and finalized. Any issues reported after this point may incur additional charges to rectify. M&C Fences reserves the right to cancel or modify contracts in cases of suspected fraudulent or inappropriate activity or if the contract contains or results from an error.
